"god is love"

Were we a social experiment for god?

So as an ex- atheist one of my leading arguments against god was the existence of evil in this world. In fact due to this very argument I thought even if god exist, he is doing a very poor job in keeping this world together and therefore he must not be competent enough for me to praise him.

Just take a look at world we are living in, every single part of this earth is corrupted. There is injustice taking place every minutes of every day, there are wars, sickness, executions etc happening this very sec when I am writing this. We are living in world of racial injustice, income gap, gun violence, hunger and food insecurity, refugee crisis and on top of all that a pandemic!!

I do not know anyone who is not suffering from anything personally ! NOT ONE SINGLE SOUL.

I had this questions in my head for as long as I remember, I was always in search of an answer for it.

Well in islam I could not get any answers because in that religion there is zero tolerance for any type of questions what so ever. " Do not question god" " you will never understand this things" "our brain can not answer such a questions" "stop being disrespectful towards god"

These were the answers I got when I asked muslims why would god even create us?

The fact is I never wanted to be born back in time, So it was a natural thing to wonder, I am sure that all of you has on some point questioned your existence too!

Which is crazy for me since islam contradicts humanity to a level that is absolutely undeniable. The reason why human were always distinguished from other animals in the theological eyes of islam and even christianity is due to the curious mind of human.

It is not become human are considerably smarter, more creative or even artistic compared to other animals. It is not because of our emotions either since we know that animals also have emotion. It is because of our brain capacity. The god who has created us have given us "logic", as a way to make sense of the world! He would have never given us a brain that can grasp mathematic if he did not want us to ask questions! I mean why would he even give us critical thinking if he wanted us to be born to be faithful?

Every single invention in humans history, every single development we have achieved, every single treatment we have found so far was because we asked questions! I personally believe that the time Explorer 1 was sent into the space, the time when Watson and crick found the structure of the DNA for the first time, the time the first vaccine was discovered, god was cheering for us ! I believe he was proud of us for understanding his work, for appreciating it and for ASKING QUESTIONS!

As Anthony flew said in his most remarkable interview of all times "god wanted to ultimately create a bunch of believers". which raise the question why wouldn't he do that then?

Why would god create us knowing we would sin and some of us will be unbeliever? why would he create the tree of good and evil if he knew we would take the wrong fruit ? was he looking for a puppet show ? So he would then deport us from heaven to earth so we can suffer generations after generations ?

Well the lucky thing is that I finally found the answer to this very question when I became christian. The best part about christianity when I started studying it was that I could ask as many questions as I want without being judged or hushed! That is a rare thing in a religion and in any systemical way of thinking specially the ones that come with holiness of ones beliefs. Even atheists can be protective of their views even though they don't add the holly part to any though or notion. I even sometimes asked questions to trigger a reaction christian church. Despite my honest efforts to for that, my christians ministers have always been not only calm and collected toward my questions but also very supportive! For me the honesty in their answers was the most attractive trait, The way sometimes they said they were not sure how to answer but they will read through it always made grateful. I have always loved teachers who can say "I DO NOT KNOW".

So after searching for so long for why would god knowingly create a world with so much sins I finally found the best answer:

Lets dig into it:

Imagine you are god (I know you can't but just try)

Now you have 4 options

1, do not create at all

2, creat a world with no moral. Or in the other words create an A-moral world

3,Create only a world with goodness and make everybody automatically believer

4, create a world where there is good and bad and moral but give your creature a chance to choose between them

Now if you are currently as dark-souled as what I was once you might choose Nr 1. But the problem is when you explain god in christianity you always say god is love. And something that is LOVE in its nature will create a relation in order to HAVE the love. Therefore a loving god will never choose nr 1.

Option 2,3 will also go against the nature of God which is love, since Love comes with moral and Love comes with choice.Love always comes with free-will and a loving god would Always give us a choice to choose freely if we want to love him or not. In fact our free-will show the real and the truth of gods love for us.

option 4:

Create the world we are livingly in. This option is the only option where a loving god of christianity will be observed. If you think about it, If god is only Love he would have create a world with moral and choice and that is exactly what he did! He did create a world even though he knew we would screw up big time! He still made it because he is nothing but pure love, He did not wanted to force us into loving him or choosing him! and we did not choose him! and this is the result we are seeing the world. But still he did not give up on us KNOWING that we will still fail! He come down to earth as a human, he lived just like every single one of us, and he died so we will have an other chance to join him in heaven!!

The fact is we were never born to suffer. We were never born to die ( no lana day ray ) We were born to ultimately have a relationship with our free will with god! but we did not choose god! in fact we are still not choosing him in our day to day life!

And so the result is as we see!

Now I know atheist hates when people say we were born in sin. I hated it my self when I was an atheist. But I feel like atheist romanticize human nature wayyy toooo much! The fact is that human can and have been and will be monsters if they choose to. Even in kids we can see some very disturbing behaviors showing that non of us are ultimately innocent. We know that in different environment and time human are capable of doing the most monstrous actions, You don't believe that read on holocaust or take a look at Stanford prison experiment. So we are born in sin. But our god, who is in nature only love, STILL CHOOSE TO CREATE US! he still choose us to exist than not ever existing!

"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love."
