Why do we criticize islam as a part of our mission in christianity?

This is one of the questions I got from a friend of mine recently. She has been thinking about it for a while and finally got the courage to ask me . She thought maybe I would take offense in such a question but I only laughed when she asked it. The thing is although I have friends from different countries and feel extremely open and close with them at some points I sometimes realize how different our worlds are due to our upbringings! which is exactly why I love diversity to its very core! It is beautiful to see the differences and I really appreciate it!
The answer is however very simple:
Because me and my sister our Iranians. Because Iranians are our people, our folk. Because we deeply care about Iranians well-being and their salvation. And the only way for us to help them is by enlightening them about the truth of islam. By making them question their faith, By giving them a chance to get few historical facts.
Also my fellow Persians I deeply apologize for writing in English but I am extremely bad at writing in any other language than English. My sister also struggles with her daily Farsi so do not expect much from her lol
It hurts me every time, every single time when I read the news on Iran. It breaks me. And for some reasons I feel guilty. Because I am out here living in a peaceful country while my people are geting prosecuted and executed for wanting not their human right (which you can forget about it in the current situation of Iran) but their CIVIL rights. It breaks me down that I am here while they have to go to the streets trying to protest for the price of meat. It breaks me down when I see videos that shows in what hardship my people are living in. Even though I never felt like I belong to Iranian community in Iran due to lack of my faith in islam, I can never break the bond I have to that country and to its people. Do not get me wrong I am not a nationalist ATT ALL. I Am far from being a nationalist in fact I hate that ideology. But my heart will always beat for my people and for the place I have come from.
So this is why I criticize islam, and to be blunt, I in fact believe that if islam has never come to Iran, If Arab conquest in 650 AD had never happened, If Sassanian empire was never declined, our country would have had a very different fate. A much better fate indeed...
So the reason why I do criticize islam is not only because I was an ex-muslim born, but because I personally think that all muslims and specially Iranians deserve to have a chance to examine their faith. Our mission with the blogg is ultimately to do good for everyone and as Iranian we would love to do good for our fellow muslims Iranians.
Iran has one of most growing christian community in the world and we want to be apart of that. Not only because we care but also because we ought to! And what do you do for that to happen in a country with the static of 98% muslims?
You criticize islam!
amen
