Most beautiful memory of my life! my baptism!

On 27.07.2019 I finally got baptized. I wrote the details of my memory of baptism in my journal describing the day and have been wanting to write it here but The biggest issue was that I did lack the words. The emotion of that very day were ever so pure that I could not even describe them with words. Even now I can't say what I felt, because the way you feel once you are baptized is not something earthy. In the other words, it is not an earthy feeling to be described with earthy words. The closet description of the feeling is one word: LOVE.

But even love is not enough, It was a mixture of love, harmony, appreciation and most importantly finding a home. As if you are back where you belong, Or as if you are there where you should always have been.

Based on our faith, the day you get baptized it is your new birthday! Fun fact I always have loved the number 7 and my new birthday has two 7 in it!

Why is baptism my new birthday? well the whole baptism is a symbol for:

Death ( You die in your old life)just like the way christ died and was buried) when you are submerged under the water .

Rising ( you start living with the lord )just like christ rose from depth of the death, the baptized person rises again from death the water.

By baptism all of our sins are forgiven by the water which is cleansed by the blood of our Lord.

I wish I had a time machine so everybody could sit in it and go back to that Saturday so you all could witness what it feels like to be baptized. That morning started magically, Waking up I felt like a whole new world is expecting me. Wearing my white clothes geting in the car going to the church. None of those action felt as ordinary as they usually do. As if every step you take that day is going to be written in history for the rest of the world. The prayers that day, The songs, and finally the baptism. The feeling of letting loose of your old life in the water, forgive about who you are and what you were, and rising from the water feeling the smile of Jesus Christ in the depth of your heart. man I wish I was better with words. I wish I could explain more...But what I wish more than anything is for you to get to experience that for your self.

I wish you all be reborn, this is why I am writing this. I wish you all find the salvation by Jesus. I wish to have the honor of making you think about him.
